I never get tired of painting this beautiful moth. It's a real treat if you ever get to see one, as they only come out at night, and they only live about a week. It's painted in acrylic paint with a little carving to give it some dimension.

Luna was a gift for a very special person entranced by luna moths since she first saw one on a windowpane. Finding the perfect gift for beloved friends and relatives is not always easy, but Lisa Waters makes it seem so. The recipient sent word of her appreciation and delight.
